It doesn't have a tube rectifier so it won't have that compression that a DR has when pushed. To me it sounds more like the DR's that Pete Anderson used to play. I think he used a solid state rectifier in his and a beefier output tranny. He also added a midrange control with more range than a stock Fender. He also used 6L6's instead of 6V6's. The JJ brand 6V6's in the JAZ sound more like 6L6's too. Just my opinion but I think the JAZ sounds better but doesn't stray too far from vintage BF tone.

Yep that's one I had imbedded. There were a couple BW did and Z-fest a few years back - for some reason the site didn't show videos - showed that I posted them but didn't show in thread!

I get a nice Deluxe Reverb/Princeton tone with these settings.
Treble - 9:00-9:30 Bass - 8:30-9:00 Mids - 9:00-10:00 Master - Full/ Volume to taste
