Got my Remedy back today from repair (smoking resistor?) and had the eq bypass mod performed as well. Literally my first words after playing it were (pardon my French) "holy sh*t, f*ck1ng awesome!" Needless to say my three year old was not in the room with me (it would have been too loud anyway, haha). The overdriven tone is amazing and a bit different than just cranking the amp up. I will do a demo soon. My favorite amp just got even better. I expected it to be good, but I didn't know it would be this good!

Man, I am looking forward to your video!! What I'm hoping for is a "solo boost" kind of lift, followed quickly by confirmation that Peach Guitars will be able to carry out the mod over here

roknfnrol I haven't even got my Remedy yet and I'm wanting to do this . I've had it on other amps (builders) and it makes a huge difference. Glad you got it done. And wipe that drool off your face.

If it works as the one in the Maz (I've tried it in the Maz 8 and it was awesome), then the Remedy will need no stinkin' pedals at all. We're looking forward to your demos!! Tons of tone!!

EQ bypass on the Rem? When did that come about? Pretty recently I guess. I asked about a mod to boost dirt and mids (like /13 or 65 amps), they suggested the bypass mod. When you engage it, it's kind of like stepping on the best overdrive pedal ever.

Oh, man--I can see some Rem mods in my future! EQ bypass PLUS MV? I'll never get any writing done!

Can't wait to see/hear the video!
Did you discuss the PPIMV mod as well?

Can't wait to see/hear the video! Did you discuss the PPIMV mod as well? I didn't want the master volume option. I don't have a volume issue with the Remedy, and I can appreciate its non-master volume mojo

The iphone and mic was positioned a bit behind my open back cab, so the sound is boomy but you get the idea. I will make a better demo this weekend when I have some free time.

Cool, even with the phone mic it sounds great!!! Thanks for the quick demo. The thing is that I don't think I'll be able to get it done here in Spain... Tons of tone!!!

Oh boy! That sound so COOL, Mike! Great sound for a "quicky" and so glad you played the LP Jr P90 - the mod seemed to jump out even better on that one (which makes me want it even more!). Okay, a quick call to Peach Guitars coming up - after NAMM I guess............

I have a Steve Marriott "Live" recording - I would have sworn you were playing that instead of the Remedy. Why didn't I have this tone when I was 25 - where's the life history rewind feature on this forum /o\. Dayum Sweet.

Thanks for that demo, Mike.
Maybe I'll send the Rem and the Monza in together and have them both retrofitted.

Guess I'll have to adjust the music budget for the year.

One question - it is foot-switchable, isn't it?

Thanks for the demo Mike! Mine is in the shop now and I've asked about this mod. Now I KNOW I want it.

Hi everyone. Yes, it is footswitchable. The footswitch plugs into the back of the amp just like the maz18-

What's the $$ for the mod? I think it was around $130-$150. I'd have to re-read my invoice.

Hi everyone. Yes, it is footswitchable. The footswitch plugs into the back of the amp just like the maz18- Hold the phone Mike! That looks NOTHING like back of my Remedy! Although only a few months old, mine is of the old, brushed aluminium, style - and doesn't have an Effects Loop! Is that another upgrade you had done?? Man, so if all this hangs together, I could possibly, just possibly, get an FX Loop, an EQ Bypass, AND a PPIMV mod done all at once (I need the volume tamed more everywhere but gigs, sadly)?? That would make the Remedy just about the best amp in the world, IMHO
