I currently own a 6545. I would like to try a Z 2x10 cab with my 6545. Anyone know if the Z 2x10 cab will be able to handle the 6545? Any thoughts as to what the cab might sound like? Since I have never heard the Z 2x10 I am flying blind so to speak. Any comments or real world experiences are greatly appreciated.
P.S. I play mainly rock music.

I'd make sure the combined speaker wattage excedes 70 watts RMS or so... It might sound pretty cool. I'm not sure what wattage the 10's are that come in them stock - that'd be a good thing to find out.

I believe the Z 2x10 cab is rated for 140 watts. I don't know for sure though.

I just bought a used Z 2x10" from a fellow forum-ite.
I have a SRZ-65 paired with a Z-Best 2x12" right now. I mainly play overdriven rock as well. I'll let you know how it sounds vs. the 2x12" once it gets here.
From Dr. Z in another post:
"the sensitivity of the DR.Z tens is 101 dB with a rating of 70 watts each."

maction....
Looks like the Z 2x10 will have no problem with the SRZ65 or the 6545 in terms of power. I'm anxiously awaiting your thoughts on the tone.

I decided to swing by my semi-local Z dealer tonight after work. They had a 2x10 cab in stock. So I went home and got my 6545 head and then went back to the store. The 6545 head sounds great through the Z 2x10 cab! I didn't think that 10's would sound good but the cab sounded amazing. Needless to say I left the store with my new Z 2x10 cab.
I don't know what the Dr. does to those 10's but I'm sold.

Has anyone tried the 6545 through the Dr.'s 410 cab?
