Hello and welcome to Poodle droppings (c) 2013 (and my 3,000th post) Here's a rough mix on a new tune by my band. The tune is called "Dirty Little Thang" and that's all I'm comfortable saying about that. the highlights here are the soprano sax solo in the middle of the song and the closing tenor sax solo. the tenor solo was played by a good friend who passed away last December. this track was one of the last tracks he recorded before he died and he nails it here. i hope you'll listen. enjoy and have a great new year! poodle..... www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=817668&songID=12084442

I have to state that this was a very rough mix. Always good to have various listening platforms to bring out the glaring problems in the mix. Here's a little tid-bit...listen closely to the opening measures before the vocals and see if you can hear the ebow swell in the background.

Man, that is some piece of ensemble music right there! Both sax solos are great (sorry to hear of the lose of your friend Ian). Great playing all round, and some funkay geetar ;D
