Dave Malone with the Radiators has been using an AirBrake for a while now. He has used a few Dr. Z Amps over the past couple of years. He's another on the journey to the never ending Tone Quest.

AC30 guy, eh Paul? I did a gig w/ the Rads years ago in DC, seems like that's what he was on, w/ a red strat maybe?

Now he is using a tweaked Bassman by a guy in upstate NY with a Hard Trucker 2x12 or an Avatar 1x12 with a Gold. It was probably his Red JazzMaster as he like the vintage white strats... But, yeah, the same guy.

Oh yeah the Subdudes!! I think Tommy Malone is a great player. He does some very tasteful slide work and he has great tone too. Tommy Malone, Johnny Ray Allen, Pat McLaughlin and Kenneth Blevins had short-lived cool "musician's musician" band called Tiny Town. I think their only release was produced by Bernie Leadon. Personally I really dug it and still play it.
I worked with the Rads and helped promote them for well over a decade, and I was fortunate to get to know alot of the NOLA players.
Tommy used a Maz 38 for a while.
