Happy Thanksgiving to all, Have you ever thought..... I want/NEED another Amp? I do all the time it seems like. as of Lately i have this MARSHALL Craving , nOt the Plexi sounds of of the 60's im talking the ripping sounds of the 70's and 80's. After being stuffed to the point I was gonna PUKE I thought I'll get a Big Dose Of LOud Guitar. ;D SO I hooked up the KT77 LOaded SRZ into my Z 2x12 Scumback Cab a PRS DGT a Timmy and a chord!!! My Craving..... WELL THAT WAS SQUASHED! The SRZ should be Renamed "THE ANTIDOTE" FOR REAL CAUSE ITS THE REAL DEAL FOR BIG MARSHALL TONE HANDS DOWN! I WILL be using this setup for my gig this weekend, its my barebones just turn on and play need some cleans roll the volume back it has all the clarity I need. Again THanks DRZ for making such a KILLER Amp!!

If you think the SRZ is the Antidote just wait for the real Antidote - I like better than the SRZ 65!

I CANT wait to play through that amp!!! I hope its much Better than the REMEDY, Not to say anything bad about that Model it just wasnt for me ;D The SRZ is Hard to beat with the right speaker, guitar and 1 mild Boost just to goose it right to the Sweet spot at LOW to ANY Volume.

Know whats better than an SRZ-65? Two SRZ-65s, you should buy my 20th anniversary, I'll even deliver it. I'm with ya! IO just love running my two SRZ's in stereo with off set eq settings. Boy o boy, what a huge full sound. Been rehearsing with the new band and have been using my Jaz and Victoria 20112 with my stereo board. Its hit and miss. Some nights its incredible, others its meh. Last Thursday was a meh day. So, I took my board home to rework it a bit, set up the SRZ's and was instantly gratified. Now, I initially set up the pedal board for the SRZ's, that was likely where I was running into my tone blues. Those other two amps are deadly, make no mistake, it was my own fault. I'll be taking the SRZ's to the next rehearsal and using the JAZ as my clean amp. CAN'T WAIT! Last night I played with the SRZ's and basically bypassed all the drive pedals on the board for Roxanne, Steve McQueen, Billy jean and running down a dream. Then I hit the Plextorition for Always on the run, double vision etc. AC booster for Summer of 69 and Cuts like a Knife. Holy smokes, these pedal.amp combos NAIL the sounds and the Solo sounds are PERFECT! I'm so frickin stoked about the straight in sound for Steve McQueen played with my deluxe Tele. You have no idea! I've been playing Sublime's Santeria with my strat and the JAZ, again, WOW!

If you think the SRZ is the Antidote just wait for the real Antidote - I like better than the SRZ 65! I'm anxious to hear the Antidote Hopefully it has more gain than the SRZ on 'modern' mode. I'd be all over a 'modded Marshall' vibe from Z land. Keith

What you have to Rememeber with the SRZ... Is the big POwer tUbe Distortion it offers created when running where it can breathe 6-9 almost WFO! ;D, I also find the 77's give it more uhmf. But I understand about a lil more juice . All it takes is a Timmy TS 808 BB etc.... and it gets really Saturated.

Yes they are amazing!!!! I havent used 34's in a great while. Seems to my ears theres more Midrange and Bottom end with 77's , and yes a tad bit more Gain. I think the 77's offer about 35 watts per tube? therefor the awesome name SRZ 65 RH TRuely rated with these bad boys , I have been using matched Gold Lions they are killer , Just dont bias it too hot it will get kind of fizzy

I ended up trading my 20th ann SRZ for a 1984 flying V. BTW the V sounds wicked awesome through the 6545, SRZ LE and EZG rig...
