What would go good with Route 66? A MAZ 18NR or a Z-28 or an M-12? Anyone have any of these combinations?? I already have a Vox AC15, a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL and a couple of fenders(tweed and BE.) I have the dough and I am ready to pull the trigger but I can only get one!

You could cover a lot of sonic ground with a Rt 66 and an M12....

I've owned two R66s and still own the Maz 18 Jr NR and M12 and think that, of the amps you've mentioned, the Maz would be the best complement, if you're looking for something different, as its tonestack is totally different than the R66's, while the Z28 and M12 use very similar front ends. That said, the M12 sounds and feels pretty different to me than what I remember from my R66 days. I guess it all depends on what you mean by "go with" and what you're looking to achieve with the new purchase.
Are you running them together simultaneously or using the new amp for lower volume applications or just looking for something that sounds and feels totally different than the R66 for variety's sake?

I decided that 2 z's are not enough. I ordered a z-28 but I was also want a Maz 18, so I am having a bit of the fire sale on ebay to raise the funds for a Maz.
