I investigated Z because of Brad Paisley orignally, and when I hear the David Grissom clips (my favorite player of all time) I was hooked. 30 seconds into a Z28 and it was all over. Had to have one. Added a Ghia, had a 'Rati for awhile, but the next one is either a 66 or a 45. PRS and EF86 pre is just magic.
Hearing buddy though, WOW!!! What a player. (and of COURSE Joe Walsh! He rips!! Saw the Rx on stage on NBC the other night!).

I play Z's because Big Mike forced them down my throat. I'm glad he did.

That purty red guitar is one of the new LENTZ . Buddy's is one of the prototypes. Tis a smokin' hot guitar in the hands of Buddy !! Buddy got one of the few they made with the "T" style control panel.Check the LENTZ site for the finalized version. That's Buddy's little Mini-Z.... also a smoker ;D

Buddy was using a MAZ Sr? Robeen Ford was using A Super Reverb I drove in from Kansas City to catch the show and it was definitly worth it. After the show Buddy was talking with a group of folks and then......he brought his two Lentz guitars down and let everyone pass them around, look at them and even pluck a few notes. I give him the highest respect as he is one of the nicest guys around.

Hey guys ! well I saw Buddy with John Mayall in Brussels last week as they're on a European tour, Buddy was kind enough to put me on the guestlist.... it was a great show and Buddy was smoking he had a Maz Sr and a 1x12" Z cab and it sounded f*****g good, between 2 songs Buddy threw in a best of Zeppelin licks show off and the crowd went nuts, he made a lot of Belgian fans that night !! I use to have a Route 66 great amp but just not my cup of tea but that Maz Sr > WOW !! anyway Buddy RULES !! bert

He certainly does rule as far as I'm concerned. I got the Z bug after seeing and talking to him after a John Mayall gig in 1999. They were not available until 2003 here in the UK. I was choosing a Boogie but got a Ghia and love it. I'm getting the humbucker thing lately and wonder what other Z users push PRS's through? Belgium was a favourite haunt of the great Rory Gallagher, I quite like it too, especially the beer.

...look how close that dang tip jar is, ain't takin' any chances ;^) I'll be there for first set tomorrow night. (Keys Lounge w/ Bobby Counts) if they need me to play any after first set, I'll be the big-boned gentleman standing outside the front door breathing clean(er) air. That's my bud Ken Wells in the last photo, he's got a real nice MAZ 38.
