New here to the Z scene. The M12 was plucked out of my head via ESP!! Clean is the emphasis and pedal friendly. Can el84s have more headroom than we normally hear in the Vox world? Yes - and Dr Z has done it. Here's the report with a pic: www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=1124972

I like that tune. You're definitely getting a nice tone from the M12 with the P90 Paul.

Congrats and welcome. Love my M12! Doc really hit a homerun with this amp! seems to me that over time it has a chance to overtake even the venerable Maz Jr in popularity. It's that good!

thanks for the kind words all...yes the M12 truly is a new voice in a world of clones and reinterpretations of familiar tones. Here's another clip with it in action:

You too have an original voice for your music. Thanks for sharing your clips, I enjoyed them. Also thanks for the kind words about the M12.

thanks all! The M12 continues to amaze...so many sounds in it. Another great feature of this simplicity is that your different guitars WILL truly have their personalities revealed in it. It really invites experimentation with tone knobs that I've only kept on 10 with humbuckers - all kinds of shading sounds good here -whereas with other amps, only maxxed out sounded good. What a treat of an amp! Let's get busy making music with it! Here's a clip where we really let the drones do the work...the EH Freeze pedal is heavily used and other reverbs/delays. More of a raga than anything:

Some more clips here from a solo performance that I did as a challenge to myself and to test out new songs in progress. This time I used a 70s SoundCity 2x10 cab closed back. Love it. Here's a piece with just a 2 stage tremelo:
Here's one with heavy modulation:
And a last one.

Thanks...for this gig it wasnt much. On The Nudist it is just a 2 stage trem by Jaurenig. For Hiding In..its a Verbzilla and TC Elec Alter Ego. For BirdSong its the Alter Ego on the Binson Ecorec setting then Polterguest is a SolidGold FX Echoman with momentary hold on an EH Freeze.

In case you wondered about P90s sounding AMAZING with the M12, wonder no further - it does! Here's the rig of the moment and the M12 continues to be a musical instrument all to itself:
