Hey guys, quick question-
I have an 8ohm 2x12 and an 8ohm 1x12. If I plug one in the 8 and one in the 4 output will my load sum down to 4ohms total and be safe?
Thanks!

You should only use one tap. 4, 8, or 16. Use a parallel wired speaker Y cable to connect the 2 - 8 ohm cabs, then use the 4 ohm tap. Or use a series wired speaker Y cable tp connect the cabs, then use the 16 ohm tap.
Not sure what happens when you do what you are suggesting.

You'll need a Y cable (like the one from Todd @ PCNS on the board here) to run two cabs. The output transformers were only designed to use one tap at a time. I seem to recall that older (maybe current?) Galaxies had an extension jack that could be used to drive two cabs at the same time.
