Hi, I love the mounted Brakelite in my Galaxie 2x10 which is 40 BIG watts in pentode. I'd love to mount one in my 55 watt Rivera R55. Just how strict is the 45 watt limit on the Brakelite? Would rather avoid the big, unattached Airbrake (which I know has more power handling). So, is Brakelite safe (a bit) over the 45 watt recommendation? Cheers.

I think you're OK if you keep the volume reasonably below max. However, best to check with the factory. Email Brent (sales@drzamps.com) for the straight scoop.

I used to run a 50 watter through my BL. It was a boutique amp and the builder told me it would be fine so long as I didn't dime the volume and gain (which would have killed me anyway...).
