Well, tomorrow I will be a new SRZ -65 Le owner. I have a Z convertible cab that now has a G12H-30 in it but......I would like to know (since I'm gigging the Le on Saturday) if a single Gold would be OK or is it time to re-install the V-30 I have that's well broken in? ? I just dont know about the SRZ' power ooomph and dont wanna blow the Gold etc.... chey

I think you'll be fine, Chey. I've run my LE quite a bit w/ the Gold in a Z 1X12 Convertible. I usually run my gain pretty high to get my crunch on, but I'll have the MV sometimes up to 2:00 to fatten everything up (w/ an Air Brake). Unless you are going to dime the MV and crank the gain, I think you'll be just fine w/ the Gold.
I gotta say, though, that the Gold is not my first choice w/ the SRZ when I'm looking for JCM 800 crunch. I much prefer a ceramic speaker (G12-65 for a 1X12 or a couple of Greenbacks in a 2X12) w/ the SRZ. I think your well broken in Vin 30 would probably sound spectacular. Any chance to run both the G12H-30 and the Vin 30 together?
Let us know how things went after the gig.

I've done a few gigs with my LE and a 1x12 Gold. It was in an open back convertible cab. I agree with Rich, the gold may not be your best choice. The V30 is a great speaker with the SRZ. I like it closed rather than open, but you should try it both ways and let us know what configuration you go with.

The Gold will be fine as long as your not dimed for extended periods. The SRZ is LOUD!!! 6-7 on dial being 1-2 oclock is deafening. But sounds So KILLER! The EVM/L is another great choice. The Doc use to send the early Combos out with 2 Greenbacks, Most of the time The EL34 in the SRZ are only rated at 25 watts making it 50 watts total, I think when running EL34B tubes they will produce 30 watts. Maybe someone else who can explaing it a little better. But either way The SRZ ROCKS!!!, The best thing I did to mine was Put in NOS Blackplate 12AX7's in the pre and in the Reverb Circuit, Yes mine has Footswitchable Reverb. I have an Old one
