Anybody heard one of these - or have any opinions?
It only has a 12" driver but is rated at 700W (which probably means 350W continuous I am assuming).
However it is made of real wood and weighs in at only 46lb.
Low freq response drops off at ~55hz. So you give up the really low stuff for the size and weight improvements.
Thoughts?

My experience has been that when EV quotes a spec you can take it to the bank (unlike some companies). Research their spec sheet and I'm pretty sure you'll find a low freq roll off. We have two 12" subs in our sound system at the church and I'm amazed at how good they sound. You just have to use some common sense when running them. In other words, use them to add punch and don't try to get thundering sub bass from them.
