I offered my services to do a demo of the M12, maybe if the moon and stars are just right, Doc will allow me the privilege. I would really like to try it. I have the pedal collection from hell, shelves of them too !

Oh YES! (so much for a clean amp driven by pedals, eh?? First thing I'd do is the classic 3-3-3 Z28 setting and let her RAWK! ) I LOVE it with the treble cranked - very Voxy!

I have the pedal collection from hell, shelves of them too ! Yep, I'd like to see that too, Frankie. Since it has been billed and designed as a pedal amp, it would be cool to see it actually used with some pedals(!)...and, with the amp dialed in for the ways that most pedal guys actually gig them...i.e. mainly clean but close enough to breakup that the OD pedals overdrive the amp a little when kicked in and, as a baseline, squeaky clean with the OD mainly coming from the pedals. Great NMV pedal amps (like a good old JTM 45/100, for example) will absolutely explode and come alive with pedals, even when squeaky clean, but they get even better when turned up a little to hit that sweet range for pedals, occurring somewhere before the amp starts to breakup plugged straight in. Lastly, I love the way you dial Z's amps for fat, warm, full, singing tones that aren't harsh and I know that you could bring the best out of an M12 too!

Dr Z with the EF-86 front end are his best amps. Route 66 and Z-28.....add the el-84's great idea and amp....love it.
