Just read the newsletter. It's EXACTLY what I'm looking for right now. A low wattage, small amp with el-84s that comes in a 110 size box ready to throw down. Now I just gotta find $1,400. Off I go!

This is my dream amp if it's loud enough clean, might put one on order. Something small and lighter would me much appreciated.

I'm thinking the cleans will be amazing; love tube-rectified EL84s already; with the EF86/tone stack from the Z28/RT66/KT45 family, I predict a ton of flavor/feel latitude.

Having had the chance to briefly play this baby I can assure the cleans are amazing!

Man....interesting and tempting. I wonder if it would have enough oomph to be heard at stage volume and then miced up through the fronts...?

Much smaller and you'll have a transistor radio! ;D Seriously though, I'm guessing that's about as small as you'll see from Doc - to continue to be cost effective he needs to use common components - like chassis. To have a stand alone one-off component would be cost prohibitive for a lower-end amp - IMHO (though I was a bean-counter in a former life )
