I finally got the chance to gig with my Galaxie, WOW!!!! It left the Remedy off both nights. I used it with my 4x10 Z cab and it was just PURE TONAL HEAVEN. I stayed on CH1 Mostly , It has that sweet breakup like an old Fender, I played my Humbucker Guitars through out the night, I covered everything from ZZTOP to JOE BONAMASSA with the GAL! This amp truely makes me ;D I had the Volume set to about 1100 and without an AB or BL its Loud but the AB was set to 3. I am doing an outdoor show in a couple of weeks will put the GAL through its paces at Higher Volume. The Galaxie Really sounds Great though the 4x10 .

Sweet! Glad you're digging it! I liked running mine through 2 Z 2X10 Convertible cabs. I had Z's stock 10"s in one, and Weber AlNiCo Silver 10"s in the other. Channel one sounded quite spectacular.

I rehearsed with my Country Band and got the chance to play the Galaxie through My friend/ Co Guitarists Closed 2x12 Cab! Man The Galaxie keeps me Smiling ;D The Cab was Loaded with V30's and It was pure Rock Tone Galore!!!! The Remedy may just be dethroned as my Current Rock Amp. There is something magical about the 6L6 Sound

Jamie, Glad to hear you are diggin' the Galaxie as of late. Truly a phenomenal amp. Was playin' a few tunes on Saturday nite .... straight-in to 112 with V30 .... with a Stratocaster. And, while I aint got "the moves like Jagger" there were definitely some strong Stones-tones on tap. ;D ;D Cheers always, Joel

Nice to hear the Gal is treating ya well Jamie. I would not have thought about a 2x12 closed back cab with V30's but it makes sense and it starting a GAS attack. Thanks Bro.

Well sometimes size matters! I bet those old G12-65s will sound great. I don't have much experience with 'real' greenbacks only weber type greenbacks but the G12-65 sounds great with the Gal and two in a closed back cab could be a force to be reckoned with... You'll have to let us know.

I did try it out Last night, I left the Gal in the truck, I wanted to see how the Remedy faired with the new Cab!! ;D ;D ;D It s a keeper, However the galaxie will stand strong right next to it all day! I have to say for rock and driven tones the 12-65's held up GREAT! Huge bottom perfect mids and not to much sizzle just right! sorry for the bad phone pict ill post some better later. I was able to run both of these amps where they can breath

There is somethin' about seeing rig set up with a 4x12 or 4x10 bottom! I do remember I now have one 12" open cab so I can keep the space demands in line and carry it (read get rid of the guilt of not using it out). But hey, given the choice I do love an old Marshall, or in my case a Hiwatt cab with 4 drivers. So defined and under control even at lower volume. You don't have to be loud to use and enjoy them. I would keep it all as long as you are still playin' out.
