What settings were you using? I seem to spend a lot of time on Triode mode with my PRS humbucker bridge into the high input with volume at 1 to 2 o clock and master at the 2 to 3.

I've been playing around more with my tone controls lately, not as much for the obvious changes in tone settings but also to change the dinamics of the OD. I've been using Pentode mode lately despite loving the Triomode very much. I'm running my Parker NiteFly with a recenly installed dimarzio FRED humbucker in the bridge possition, the guitar and Maz 8 seem very happy with this combination. I use the hi input and will generally run volume and master volume in teh noonish areas depending how much volume I want. Brake lite set on 2 and I get a nice punchy crisp overdrive, lots of dynamic and even a bit of sparkle. Its been very pleasing I'll take a pic of the dials next time I am up there and show you. I think my Blue is starting to really break in now too and I am sure that is making a nice difference in what I have been hearing lately Todd

Good report Todd, Mines breaking in nicely as well. Try it with the MV wide open - I found some new sounds and my guitar playing somehow got better! ;D ;D ;D

I know the blue sounds great, but how does it do with the M8? I guess I'm more concerned with the bass response than anything else. I know it can get pretty flabby when used with something like an 18 watt amp. Is this much of a concern with the M8?
