Arrived to my office just in time for lunch and I had my guitar and cab waiting!
Let me back up a bit.... I got my first Dr. Z in 2007, it was an RxES. Ever since I got rid of that amp, the percussive-ness of that amp has always haunted me and I've NEVER found it in any other amp. The RxJr has all that percussive-ness that it's big brother has.
Even though it's been 5 years, I think the RxJr may have just a bit more "mojo" over the RxES..... Probably because you can crank it more. Either way, I'm really glad my amp journey has brought me back around to an RX (jr). It's been several years since I've plugged in to an amp and was just totally blown away. The last time was with my Hayseed and the Stangray before that... Nothing since then. I've had quite a few amps but the RxJr has been the only one that has that "wow" factor since then. The Maz Jr grew on me quite a bit, but the RxJr is the exact tone I have in my head.
I just hope it's loud enough for my band situation.

Nice I know what you mean about the percussive-ness. That amp is in a class of its own. Congrats! What kind of speakers are in your cab?

That's awesome! Glad you were able to score one. It's a great amp for sure, nothing else quite like it.
