Moody's are really nice. So are 4" Levy's. I have one of each. If you buy a Moody direct, mentions Myles Roses name and they will be very kind to you.

I like levy's. Nothing too thick though. Something rigid that can get softer over time. like a good belt. typically 3.5-4"

I just bought a 3" wide Oil Tanned strap from Jeri Hart. Very comfortable, and built to last 3 lifetimes. She's a wonderful person, too! I just ordered another one of her straps - the one she calls a Modified Gilmour strap. A friend had a similar strap and it's very comfortable, but wasn't as stiff. I'll use it on a lighter weight guitar. As a less expensive option, I like the 3" straps by Franklin. Seem to be easy to find.

I like el Dorado straps for a more vintage look. Also, Jodi Head has some cool designs. The Italias look great, too.

Those are cool , Keith! I also like my Vox Python , even though it's heavy and the leather is thick , it is surprisingly comfortable.

The Italias frequently go on sale, usually a two for the price of one deal.

check out NEOTECH straps. there new . found them in a store in holland mi. ordered several more when i got back home, and turned a few people on to them who cant believe how well they helped relieve the weight and back and shoulder soreness. very reasonably priced. (almost a crime how in-expensive) I also like the 4" padded levy straps. (a little pricey)

Look no further than wide rides - www.widerides.com/ - I like the slippery surface pad so your shirt doesn't get bunched up when you move about or show off your rock star moves

Check out Double Treble Straps. They have many custom leathers/colors/finishes and can custom match any design/logo/name whatever sewn into the leather. Create your own personal design or browse through their designs. Very comfortable and very well made. Great customer service also.

What kind of backing is on those straps? Is is a smooth leather like the front or a suede? I can't stand the suede rearranging my shirt all night, but its hard to find something with a smooth back.
