Hi Jammers5, I'm still lovin mine also. I played it last Sunday with my 52 RI Hot Rod Tele and it sounded sweet. I finally got an Aracom Pro DAG 150 attenuator that really works great with the Wreck. I had the volume set at about noon and attenuated down.

It is nice. The Suhr actually sounds better when I back down on the volume knob a little. It can get a little too muddy with the humbucker. I like the Tele bridge sound, that's why i started the other thread about the single coils in the Gretsch 6128 TCG. Just wondering what it would sound like with the Zwreck.

I think it's so quiet b/c everybody's too busy playing these. I was thinking the same thing - once you get a Z Wreck why would you be sitting in front of a computer when you can be sitting in front of such a wonderful amp? Speaking of which, I think my Ghia is calling me telling me I need to practice ;D.

I gigged with mine a few weeks ago. Loved it! It's really hard to stop playing that amp. "Just five more minutes" turns into an hour. I drop a pic and am too into the amp to even bend over and pick it up. I don't use the attenuator anymore; louder is better but quiet with pedals is also stunning.

the a z wreck I guess tends to cause a lot of gas and as a result people tend to avoid it or venturing into that territory...lol i guess... It seems to be growing in the amount of players out there who have them now...youtube seemed to be a big help with all the demos...god knows that I got hundreds of emails of people asking me about that amp...some bought as a result. I'm really loving the wreck with a les paul lately .....haven't plugged my teles into it in a while now...experimenting with the les paul more...I'll have to do another demo to throw a flame on the fire...i encourage you all to do the same...i love watching z wreck demos.... cheers!

Yeah havent spent any time with the LP thru the wreck, i've acquired a taste for single coils and find humbuggies too thick......maybe spending time with humbuckers to allow time for my ears to adjust to em is what i need.... ;D Same goes for P90's - gotta get out the LP I have with P90's and try it into the wreck again. gig this weekend......can't wait to get the Wreck on stage! I play my R0 through my wreck all the time. I have the Jimmy Page wiring on mine. By far the best sound I get is with the bridge humbucker in parallel with the tone rolled back a little and a little neck mixed in. Takes a little off the low frequencies that tend to push the wreck too hard and adds a lot of upper frequency sparkle that isn't there with the bridge pickup in series. Keith

I'm really loving the wreck with a les paul lately I am too. Last Sat's gig I was using the 57 RI LP with solo boosts thru a Zendrive. It was nice...very nice. Seems that at every gig since I've been using the Wreck someone comes up to me during a break and asks what amp I'm using. They never did that when I played thru the Mesa. But I will say my Ric 12 sounds better thru my Mesa Lonestar clean channel than it does thru the Wreck, even if I dial the Wreck Vol back for a cleaner signal. It's not bad thru the Wreck, just not as clean. May just need to work with the cut knob some more with the Ric to clean it up better.

J5 Sorry J5, I missed this post. Well, I'm just a hobby player. I really don't know if I have a favourite If I was able to spend more time with them all, I might have a favourite. In reality, I keep switching them up regularly. Even the ZWreck has been on the shelf for a week or so for a Peavey That being said, though, I love the ZWreck for its chime and I also love my Reinhardt Sultan for being able to switch between EL84s and 6V6s in one box. The amp that gets the most use....my Tiny Terror head into a 1x10 Red Fang Cab. Keith
