Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, the first thing I thought too was, "she's pink?!" But I had actually been considering a pink guitar ever since I saw the Shell Pink Teles that Wildwood has - I just wasn't sure I would do it! The Ice Pink has a wonderful blue iridescent flake mixed in - you can see it in the headstock picture (3rd from top) where the light is reflecting off of the upper bout and cutaway. At the store it came down to Pink T-Bone vs. Surf Green T-bone, which are two of my favorite vintage Fender colors. I'm glad my wife made me go with the Pink!
I'm particular with the pickups I like, especially with Teles. I had to try 3 types before I settled on a set in my Fender '62 AVRI. These LSL pickups are fantastic and they are built in house. I don't know any details about them, but I can tell you that they're early 60's style because the bridge pickup has the white string around the windings and they have that glassy, open and articulate late 50's/early 60's Tele sound. The neck pickup is one of the best Tele neck pickups I've heard.

Congratulations on your new guitar. Looks great ! Don't want to hijack your thread, but I bought a wonderful LsL Saticoy yesterday. These are great instruments. I think we should have fun with them

No hijack worries, she's a beautiful Saticoy - congrats! I was able to play one and it's definitely on my list for the future. There's really something special about LSLs.

I think a guitar like that would force me to think about what shirt I was wearing that day. I don't need that in my life. Perhaps if you stick to black or white shirts all the time you will be ok. !

Sean- I've played a tahitian coral pink start since I was 14- never once thought about the shirt. I'm more worried about my hair!
