I was playing around last night with my 8, I am building a special to run my effects loop, by pass and main signal to the amp with one cable (see effects loop in the "effects" section) Anyway . . . I dimed the volume with the master at about 9 oclock, wow, that was cool. I putzed around with it for a bit and then remembered one of the cooler settings on my Maz Jr was diming the master the volume and then bring ing up the pre amp volume to taste. Wow, what a nice fat, thick crunch, no super saturated just a nice thick crunchy drive. I might run that a little more often, sounded especially good with my humber guitars Todd

I've got mine currently set with V about noon to 1 and Master at 3 in triode mode. The tone knobs are set around 10, except T at noon. Sounds good to me with single coils; have not tried humbuckers yet. Lots of good sounds in there

I'm hoping to get more time with it tonight, I normally keep the amp at church and don't a lot of time putz, I tend to set it to something that sounds good and go with it but I know it will do so much more. the effects loop snake it almost complete, Patty added a jack on the back of the by pass switch for me so that is now part of the snake too Todd

I've got my MV at noon right now as well as the tone controls. I like playing with the volume because its gainier as you go up past noon. I am finding my cut knob is more repsonsive than the one on my Jr, also, since I put the tone by switch in with my effects loop snake I use it more too
