Hi All I've already adjusted the bl for less cut between the steps marking where the sliders were and moving them along a bit), but for me there is a huge leap in volume between 0 and 1. Any ideas? brett

Any ideas? brett Well the BL comes standard with: 1= 0 (thru) 2= -2db 3= -5db 4= -8db 5= -11db Some people claim you can't hear less than a 3db change, but I have been able to hear less than 2db, so it is not inconceivable that your ears are even more sensitive to changes in SPL. As far as mods, I have no firsthand experience - the BL works great as designed for me.

Thanks Steve- maybe it's the way the amp behaves with the bl. There's a huge amount of compression at 2 especially when kicking in an OD for solos. At 1 the solos leap out and at 2 I'm struggling to be heard if the band volume ramps up during a solo. Brett

You know that you have to double or halve your power to get a 3db change in SPL?

Oh one more thing. Try to never turn the BL down during a performance. Start with the BL on 2 clicks if you think that is the lowest volume you'll need. Then if that is not enough, go up one click. You will be surprised how much differently you hear things. Try it!

That's what I do, start with it on two clicks, set my sound. Then if it's not loud enough, I go to one click, then off. Works great.
