Oh well, such is life ! Truthfully, normally I wouldn't expect it from L&M before 10 weeks or so. However, I was told on the day I ordered it that they were in stock at the shop (as long as it was a silver set I wanted). So, I thought it would get here. No biggie. I'll just get something different for Xmas and keep the Wreck at L&M until mid-March as a birthday gift (assuming it's here by then Keith i hear ya...it was my christmas gift as well but i didn't get it until 6 weeks later....thats long and mcquade for ya...if i had my time back i would have bought it thru montreal...they had one in stock there too...could of had it in a week at that time...by the time i got the amp i wasn't as excited about getting it...i hate that feeling. sorry to hear the news Keith,,,merry christmas!

Funny, when I got home today there was a message that the 'Wreck showed up this afternoon at the dealer.

Not to put the C gold coming on Tuesday, and the Avatar cabinet coming some time during the week on the same level as you getting the Wreck Having something on order and in the process of getting to you is also a pretty good feeling. Having it is fantastic, but the anticipation and waiting (when it's not too far down the pike) is OK, gives you something to look forward to. And you know your going to get it, it' s all good. My birthday is in March also, but I suspect, I'm going to be hell of a lot older than you, hey Merry Christmas, its on way.

I'll be 46 ;D I agree with you on the anticipation being good thing I was going to pick the amp up yesterday, but Xmas for me (5 & 7 year old, travelling to see family 5 hours away, etc) is hectic nd the Z-Wreck arrival would get lost in the melee! So, i figure a two month wait is nothing and the prospect of a new amp mid-winter would be a great boost. The plan is to take that day off work, pick up the Wreck and have a 'me day" Keith

I'll be (while making a not so musical gulping sound) 66. I think I've played will you still love me when I'm 64 for at least 30 years, it use to be a joke, still play it, sometimes hard to believe I'm on the other side of it, crazy.
Anyway playing music with good equipment, like the Z's, keep you from feeling old, getting the tone just keeps inspiring.
Putting the family first is always a good thing, and sounds like you have a plan for that day, your patience and selflessness will be richly rewarded.
