Man, great tone and licks. I did not know the RxJr had that much natural gain. What were your settings and speaker that you used.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks surfhard. That's one we wrote call Don't Talk to Strangers. The RXJR has a single 12" Greenback and the cool red tolex covering makes it look as great as it sounds. The vol is around 11:00 with the master at noon (just enough to put some "hair" around the notes), treble is at 10 o'clock, mid at 1 o'clock and bass at 1:30; the OD is off. I've played some pretty good size stages (inside/outdoors) with the JR mic'ed and it sounds huge, simply fabulous - the sound guys love it since it always gives them great tone to work with! Scroll through my Facebook pics for examples of larger venues (may have to cut/paste the url): www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150208087391104&set=t.100000982002202&type=3&theaterWith tone and oneness, Mike

Thanks for posting. surfhard that's pretty low on the gain available from the jr. You can get pretty heavy with some humbuckers or hot p-90s when you crank the front volume. cool tune, btw. Really tasty playing!

mcook217 is so right - I tend to play pretty clean with just a touch of "hair" around the notes. The JR has lots more gain on tap, and musical gain at that!

Tone sounds pretty good boss. I've got the same amp. I'm always plugged into the HI input and I get really really hot, creamy gain with the volume around 6-8 (treb. @ 8, mid @ 7, bass @ 6 master @ whatever i like) with my tele. Even moreso when i tried the same settings with a friends LP. I run straight from my guitar to a MXR Carbon copy delay, and a MXR Dyna Comp. to the amp. I love my set-up. You should try these settings if you get a minute to play around with it. (even without the comp it sounds great!) what settings re you using?

dsauls89 - Here's where I typically run the controls for that guitar (PRS DGT): The vol is around 11:00 with the master at noon (just enough to put some "hair" around the notes), treble is at 10 o'clock, mid at 1 o'clock and bass at 1:30; the OD is off.
I picked up a Collings I-35LC and have been "playing" with the controls to find what works best for it.
BTW: I plug into the Hi input.
