Been gigging with the Ray for about a month now (humbucks, lo input with a 12ay7 in the pi through a g12h30 vo around 9:00). This amp sounds amazing, it totally killed last night. I even bought a second Maz with bypass mod but I can't even play through it for more than 5 minutes because I want to hear the Ray. I bought a Remedy off the gear page yesterday and I have no idea how it will stack up against the Ray but I'm very worried. The only time I didn't like it was in church last weekend because I had to run it at about 7:30-8:00 on the vol. That made it sound kind of heavy metally with my Cusack. I learned my lesson now and I'll bring my Brake Lite next time. With the volume where it just starts to break up when you hit it real hard and you slam it with the Cusack sounds unbelievable. It is soooo thick and fat I can't begin to describe it. You can turn down your guitar to clean it up a little you can still feel the bottom punching you in the chest then you crank it back up and dang, sustain forever.
I would keep going but I gotta go for lunch rp

Good Luck finding something that will compete with Stangray cleans
I was just using my Stangray clean, then hooked up an attenuator a couple of days ago. Sounded REALLY Good
Gotta spend more time with it, but I was using Stangray Clean and Remedy Gained up
Remedy does have a really good clean too I have both, would be hard to get rid of either

Rick is right - the Remedy does have a very very good clean tone! It's more Marshally than Voxy though. I have both amps and they compliment each other very well. A clean strat through a loud but clean Remedy is a beautiful beautiful thing. You won't be disappointed. And I know exactly what you mean about the Ray ruining other amps! ;D

I have both the Ray and Remedy. Great amps. You won't be disappointed in the Remedy. It does pair well with the Ray. Great to hear another Michigander into the Z's! (oh, and that place we go on Sundays too! )

I've been dragging a fishing net on eBay for a while, just to see what various amps are selling for (wishing, drooling, etc.). In the few months I've been doing it, I've never seen a 'Ray for sale. And it ain't like they're brand new or not available or anything.. they're just that good.
