my Mazerati combo has the letter M for the serial# that makes it from 2002 . my question is, is this version 1 or 2?

probably V2. without seeing the inside, it's pretty hard to tell, but the general rule is any one after Sept, 11, 2001 is a V2. any pix? maybe check to see if there are any stickers/markings on the transformer.

Post some pics. Quote straight from the man himself...Dr Z... "I'm glad you like it. Yes I modified Brad Paisleys Mazerati on ( 9/11/2001 ), yes the date is correct he canceled his show that night and visited me. So since the first Ver 2 Mazerati was born in 2001 your's is truely a Ver 1, enjoy." Z The Version two came into existence on 09/11 but didn't go into production until later.

Can't post pics as I don't have a working cam right now... But this is what I found on one of the transformers. DR.Z 5001 CIN-TRAN 30-0235. On the other transformer I don't see anything on it unless it's on the other side which isn't seen unless i take it apart. serial is M-9084
