My son (five) was trying to be helpful and turn the Air Brake attenuation knob from 2 to 4 for me and gave it a really really long and hard clockwise turn and the metal knob snapped off; DANG!! He felt so bad Anyway can you please tell me how to get it back on?? It looks like it was attached to the (still there) white plastic stem sticking up with glue maybe.... Thank you so much in advance!! Jamey

If the stem of the pot is still intact, are you certain the knob actually snapped off? There is a small screw in the side of the knob itself which needs an allen key of the correct size. Just loosen the screw, pop the knob back on the stem, line it up, tighten the screw and you're all set. If the stem of the pot has actually snapped off, it's a new pot that's needed, and you'll have to call the Doc.
Hope you get it sorted; the last thing a guy needs is a broken knob..... ;D
