Can the StangRay 2x12 with Blues, be used with a acoustic guitar with a pickup in it?
Where the StangRay is a super clean amp.
I play my StangRay with my Fender 52 AVRI Tele, but going to buy a highend Gibson or Taylor acoustic this week to play with a different band ( 3 piece )and I will be playing acoustic.
DO I need to buy a acoustic amp, or can I use my DR. Z StangRay?

Tried it, sounds terrible. I don't know why you would need an acoustic amp though. What's wrong with a PA?

some good acoustic amps to check out are Acoustic Image, and AER..acoustic guitars benefit from a very neutral frequency band. an electric guitar amp wont let the acoustic tone shine. it will sound sort of congested.
