Okay Galaxie owners, what position does your new amp occupy in your tone cosmos?

I just received my Galaxie from Fat Sound last week and had a chance to play it at a gig over the weekend. I received many comments on how good my guitar sounded and the Galaxie had a lot to do with the improved tone. IMO channel 1 sounds great with my pedalboard - the tone is very articulate and stands out in the mix. Channel 2 is special in its own right (even without any additional distortion boxes) and I really like to use it for my leads or heavy rhythm playing. Overall a great amp that has exceeded my expectations!

I've been gigging my galaxie for about a month -maybe 14 shows while my Mark Sampson Gainstar was in the repair shop. I love the clean channel, I would've bought the Galaxie on the merits of that channel alone. But after gigging it for a while I'm still trying to suss out the volume differences between the two channels. I tried an attenuator but when the gain side was turned up enough to sound rockin, the clean side needs to be maxed to get a similar volume, which defeats the purpose of the two channels cause they sound pretty similar when cranked.
Bottom line? I won't be selling my Maz just yet

My Galaxie is my new #1 since I have to now sell my Maz JR NR to fund it. Thing is that the Good Doctor makes so many amps that sound good they are all #1. I think in my future is a Stangray and again a Maz Jr NR. Going all heads for speaker setup swap-ability.

A quick Galaxie fact, of the 12 videos I posted on You Tube from Z fest there are 2 Galaxie videos that have received over 6 and 7 thousand views respectively. Out of the other 10 Dr. Z amp model videos none topped 3000 views. So alot of people are interested in this amp.
