Hey Rx guys! I've been playing my Maz 18 NR combo for awhile and been pretty happy, although I'm always on the TONE QUEST!! I've owned a Monza and most recently a Galaxie and after extensive A/Bing I've stuck with my Maz. The only Master Volume amp in the Doc's lineup left for me is the Rx Jr (MV control is a must as I play extensively at church and our sound guys are very anal about stage volume) Well, I finally found a Rx Jr which will arrive this week. Let the games begin...the showdown is on. I've read every review on the forum and listened to every clip and the consensus seems to be... to own bothas they are similar yet different(right??). I'd love a little more Marshall grind especially since I play alot of HB equipped guitars and teles. My one and only complaint about the Maz is bonding with buckers. It sounds good, but alway takes a ton of EQ'ing and still always seems like something is missing. Strats sound amzing of course but I don't own a strat. Hopefully there will be a clear winner for my needs(I know everyone will tell me to keep'em both) but I am too poor to keep both. All advice is always greatly appreciated!!

Yeah, that's the one. Was hoping not to pay that much but it was absolutely mint with padded cover. Now the hard part, waiting for it to arrive!!

As much as I loved my Maz18 - played the heck out of it for 3+ years - I now play a RXJr combo with a single 12 Greenback. Single and hums sound great through it, I'm very, very happy.
With tone and oneness, Mike
