Hey so did you use the original Z logo from the combo? I'm about to build two cabs. one for me and one to sell. I was just wondering.

It's a Stingray 2x12 combo and I'd be happy enough for it to be a head/2x12 cab.

It's a Stingray 2x12 combo and I'd be happy enough for it to be a head/2x12 cab. Tim, Run an WTB ad for a Z Head cabinet that will house a Stingray. The folks here will know if it fits or not, 50 50 shot someone will have one. Send a note to Don or Dr. Z in repairs and ask if they have any head cabinets for a Stingray that they might sell, 70 30 chance Contact Peter Mather and ask him to build you a cabinet for the Sting Ray, that will take some close coordination. These are some steps that I would take to get it going. Most of the guys have traded out cabinets at one time or another so there is a lot of knowledge available. BV

what should one expect to pay for a head cab? There is actually one listed on Reverb but I certainly don't want to overpay
I sent an email to Z a few days ago about it...haven't heard back yet so just waiting.

At the moment I guess I can't post in the emporium here 'cause I haven't been around 30 days. Maybe I'll just need some patience which, admittedly, I am horrible at when it comes to gear lol.

Tim, I recommend sending a note to Peter Mather of MatherAmp Cab and ask for a quote to build a new head. It is usually $225 plus shipping. The quality is top notch and the mounting holes will match. And you can get the color you wish. I'll post a WTB ad BV
