I had mine cranked up yesterday - man I do like that amp! A little expensive but you sure don't see them up for sale often! Seth has his for sale for $1250 on the BST section. I've never seen 2 for sale at the same time! Ryan, are you looking?

That's my old Delta on eBay! I wish I never had to get rid of it. I bought it 'brand new' from a boutique shop in San Fran two years ago... I always thought of it as 'the last new Delta'. Whoever ends up with that one is going to be a happy camper!

Seth has his for sale for $1250 on the BST section. I just bought Seth's Delta 88. Once upon a time I had several Z amps but, thanks to a couple of health issues and a lack of sick days, had to sell nearly all of my gear to get me through. Now that all that's behind me, it's time to get 'em back: Seth's Delta 88, and a few weeks ago I bought a KT45 and 1x12 cab from Elite Music Sales. Two down, and ... a lot to go!

Karma to you for shopping at Elite AND buying my 2 favorite Z amps. When the venue is big enough to let me do it, I run the KT and the Delta together. TONE!!!!!

Ahhhrrrrr!!!! Would love to hear an 88 in the flesh one day. For that matter I'd like to hear the whole family stacked up together and played side by side.

Karma to you for shopping at Elite AND buying my 2 favorite Z amps. When the venue is big enough to let me do it, I run the KT and the Delta together. TONE!!!!! Thanks, Shannon. What a monster of an amp! Currently, I only have a Z 1x12 with a Vintage 30, so I have to be careful about cranking it up without an attenuator. I also just bought an Aracom attenuator, so I can enjoy the 88 in ( almost ) all its glory, but I would like to hear it wide open, unattenuated through a 4x12. I'd also like to experiment with different tubes ... anyone have some suggestions? On ebay, there is currently a pair of '60s Genalex Gold Lion KT88s in NOS condition, but the bidding is now up to over $500.00 ... too rich for my blood. For current production stuff, Doug's Tubes seems to like the reissue Gold Lions or the Penta ( Shuguang? ) KT88s. For the preamp tubes ( both EF86 and 12ax7 ), have any of you tried NOS stuff like Dario Miniwatt, Mullard, Valvo, etc? If so, what did you think?
