thanks johnnyl! I dig your board too... How do you like that startouch? How do you like the Burriss? Anything you can compare it to? I've never played that one, but it's caught my eye a few times now.
I too have a Blue Collar... It's not on the board, but I can't bring myself to sell it. Truly the best tubescreamer variant I've ever played... in fact, I almost feel guilty comparing it to a tubescreamer, as it doesn't really sound much at all like those little green boxes.

Hey Peach, the startouch is really cool. It's does the job with no annoying pops, it's a small footprint and the guy's a pleasure to do business with - not to mention it was only about $65.00! As far as the Burriss - I love that thing. It's such a smooth & clean boost. I really think it's a poor man's Klon. It can get just on the edge of a little hair to boost a solo out front or it really gives a nice bump to the power tubes and warms up a clean tone. I also use it with my acoustic sometimes. One of my favorite combos is the comp, burriss & maxon for a little Dave Gilmour tone. I'm really digging the Blue Collar! It's definitely more articulate and responsive the any of the TS variants I've tried. I got it for a steal too which is nice!
How you liking that BYOC trem? I think I might actually be able to do that one... I completely F'd up the Screamer clone... haha...

I'll have to keep that in mind for the next time I decide I *need* an a/b box again! The Burriss sounds like a sweet pedal... I'd love to hear how it compares to the Tribooster. It's a mosFET based pedal isn't it? Yes, articulate is a great way to describe the Blue Collar... and it can be a firebreathing moster too! The BYOC Trem is great. Very nice sounding, natural, sweet trem, with no irritating tick, hiss, or thump artifacts. It was an EASY build too. Go for it!

Here is my current set-up, I want to add a bypass box and a different trem pedal but I'm pretty happy with it.

hiftbso, do you have any trems in mind? I tried out a Frantone Vibutron and I liked it. It can be set for a sine-wave, triangle-wave, or sqaure-wave vibrato/tremolo. I'm personally not a tremolo guy but if I were I would get it. Only possible issue is that it can only use one setting at a time.

Here's my board. The only foreseen changes will be a Zendrive in the place of the ZW44 and an AnalogMan King of Tone. Rest are T-Rex Replica, Voodoo Lab Tremolo, AnalogMan Bi-Chorus, Ross Flanger, MXR Script Phase 90, Ibanez TS-808 with AnalogMan True Vintage Mod, MXR ZW44, AnalogMan Bi-Comp, VHT Valvulator, FoxRox Captain Coconut 2, RMC Teese Picture Wah (limited red edition).

here's my larger one. from top left..clockwise Wasabi Forward/Reverse delay-I use this specifically for the reverse effect. Its a good sounding pedal but I found that its not very easy to change settings on the fly. Thats why I have the Danelectro DanEcho right next to it. The DanEcho has a couple great features. First is the fact that it has a "high cut knob". The reason people say digital echo sucks is because it is too acurate, too scratchy. With this high cut knob you can dial out the high end so the repeats have less treble. They blend better and sound an awful lot like tape echo. Other good feature is the "half/double" speed switch. I can pretty much do the gig with all the settings in one place and toggle back and forth from slap to long arse rockstar solo delay. The Fulltone Supa-Trem has to be the best trem on the market. It is also very performance friendly with a half/double speed switch, hard/soft effect switch and an internal gain matching pot that helps you recover volume loss encountered by the trem. The gain stage is the same one Fuller uses in his Fat Boost pedal. The plain black box to the right of the Supa-Trem is the AC power connection for the Techstar Power Supply that is located underneath the Brooklyn Overdrive. That big white Wah Wah is the Fulltone Clyde Wah. Its a very smooth well built Wah with an internal contour pot that can make the sweep more intense. Boss Tuner. It works and I'm used to it. Continuing bottom row right is the Techstar Standby/Router box made for me by Randy at Techstar. Guitar goes in then feeds several different signal paths. Main 2 outputs go to the MAZ 18 Jr.NR's after all the pedals (except for the tuner which is on its own loop). Its a stereo out from the Fulltone Choral/Flange. 3rd output skips the pedalboard after the standby to go to one amp with a 'no effect' signal (usually the Dr Z Z-28). The box also has phase switches for outputs 1 and 2 and a master ground switch. The red box to the left of the router is a loop activator built by Ferg in Nashville. The DanEcho sounds great but it is not a true bypass pedal. I use this loop to engage the DanEcho. The blue box with the Roscoe sticker is a Fulltone Fulldrive 2. It is one of the earlier models. I have a gromet under the first gain pot so It is impossible to turn myself down (with the damn comp cut switch) while playing. The pedal has the Mid-Mod that was done by Keith at Aramat Effects. New Fulldrives have this mod. Its a less scooped out sound. The green pedal with the Roscoe sticker on it it the Fulltone Choral/Flange. This is a hell of a wiggle pedal. It gets me my stereo out and has a gain matching pot on it that is like the one on the Supa-Trem. I use this pedal in conjunction with the Supa-Trem to get a very realitic Leslie effect. The Choral/Flange in stereo with the Supa-Trem in mono comes really close to the "stereo top rotor/mono bottom" of the classic Leslie rotating speaker. On a Leslie Cabinet the top and bottom rotors are never in sync. Lastly that blue pedal in the middle is the Brooklyn Overdrive from the girls at Frantone in Brooklyn. This is the best overdrive I've ever heard for use with class A amps. Built truly like a tank and it has more bottom than any other overdrive I've ever heard. How about that?

Signal chain: Shure ULXS Wireless>Keeley Compressor>Addrock Boostmaster>Fulltone Fulldrive 2>Fulltone Choralflange>Line 6 DL4>Ernie Ball Volume pedal>DR Z Stingray Head>2x12 Avatar open back w/ Weber 30 watt Alnico Blue Dog & Celestion G12H30. Korg DT7 tuner is plugged into tuner out on volume pedal and is not in signal path. Also have Keeley TS9/BD2 setup that ends up on the board occasionally, but other than that, the setup in the picture covers alot of bases for me.

I'll take 'em both. Seriously, how is that MM4? It looks pretty cool. I haven't tried it yet but was thinking you have put it through it's paces. Does it sound cheesy at all?

I'll take 'em both. Seriously, how is that MM4? It looks pretty cool. I haven't tried it yet but was thinking you have put it through it's paces. Does it sound cheesy at all? I didn't put one on the new flight board. I've been using the MM4 for a few years now. I wouldn't record with one, but for live it's pretty useful - considering you mic the amp (never know placement/mic used) which goes to a FOH guy who EQ's it again and then is colored by the PA/Mix. So, the subtle things missing aren't relevant by the time the signal hits the listener out front. It does do a lot, but none really well (jack of all trades, master of none) - covers a lot of sounds in a small space w/CC capabilities to boot. The DL4 and MM4 do tend to suck the tone. It's a noticable difference between wet/dry...mostly a strong cut in the higher frequencies - cuts the sizzle off the guitar signal. Overall, good bang for the buck if you need to cover a lot of effect territory w/gigs and don't want to haul a rack setup or aircraft carrier sized pedalboard. Will say I've had pretty good luck with both L6 units. Only issue I've had has been related to bad power at a venue - they are essentially little computers and they do not like running lean on the juice...tend to do funny things like switch patches for no reason, lock up on a certain patch, not recall the proper effect when you step on a button. Can make for a long night when that happens.

This is a little off topic... I have built and use several BYOC pedals as many of you know from this thread a few others on the topic... Well, I just got a notice from the BYOC discussion forum that I have been banned! I have no idea why they would ban me, and I haven't even visited that forum in a month! This isn't some weird thing that's happened to anyone else at that forum is it? Just trying to figure out what the heck is going on!!!

I just went back there are several months (since I built the TS Clone), with no issues. I dunno, I'd email the mod. BTW I have a Trem on the way, should be interesting to see how it stacks up with my Demeter Trem. And FYI the EA Circuit is the same circuit used in the Diaz Trem (for better or worse).
And on a side/side note: I won the beauty pagent for the puritiest insides a while back with my TS Clone. Won myself 1lb. of gourmet coffee...never got it. Oh well.

Bill Bruce (Seaking) was kind enough to take a pic of the latest edition of my pedalboard (I don't have a digital camera). Actually, it's changed already. I took off the Juaernig tremolo to fit the Timmy on (won't be using tremolo for awhile).

Please allow me to humbly submit my first pedal board. Recently acquiring a third pedal started me rummaging around the basement for the stuff to complete this project. Surprisingly, in a matter of minutes i located everything needed and didn't even need to make a trip the store (the very simple approach helped too). Fits in a modestly sized carry bag that i tout along when i play out. Total price ZIP !!

Ok, Here goes... This seems to change constantly... I'll soon be adding the following: ZVex Ringtone, Pedaldoctor FX Four Speed Overdrive, Digitech Whammy, Electro-Harmonix Memoryman Deluxe and a few expression pedals for the line 6 stuff. This stuff will obviously have to sit on a side board... I'm a bit of a pedal junkie. I swap the fuzz for a Prescription Electronics Experience... pretty cool for that octave fuzz thang. Loads of other pedals sit in crates and on other boards... this is my current big board. My fly board has alot less.
