I wonder what else you got hiding! You've got 3, maybe 4 tubescreamers on that board! (Plus the AC which is similar to a TS).

Hey skydog, Can you say gear aholic? Guilty!! I'll admit I'm a bit of an OD freak I got a lot of them (way too many) it seems I'm always trying to find that perfect OD tone, but it has proven to be quite elusive to my ear. In fact there is 6 OD type pedals on my board (and several more in a drawer in my guitar room), and they are all set different, I use them all individually at some point or other and some I will cascade. Overkill? Maybe, but I've yet to find the all encompassing tone for me, but I'm still looking. ;D [glow=limegreen,2,300]-J-[/glow]

Here's my current setup (Finally got the hosting site to take the upload). This set up is in a constant state of flux. It looks a little like red spaghetti right now it needs to be cleaned up really bad. The 2 pedals on the top Row the AC and Dig Reverb are in the signal flow, the others aren't being used at the moment. I guess you could call me a pedal junkie as this is a fraction of my collection. [glow=limegreen,2,300]-J-[/glow] Good Lord !!!!!!!

Hey Leftlang, do you find the TTE naturally adds a little modulation to the delay? I've read heaps of stuff on Andy Summers rigs and I can't find anywhere that he actually used chorus. I know he used a flanger for a lot of things but maybe alot of that modulation sound is coming from his echoplex? My friend swears he used a Boss chorus 1 but I just haven't come across any info on that and in Andy's book he never mentions chorus. Yours must sound huge in stereo between the 66 and 28

I really am trying to weed out the clutter on the board I have, it's just so hard to pick favorites [glow=limegreen,2,300]-J-[/glow]

www.pumaboards.comYou know, I used to LOVE building my board, now it just sits there with some pedals on it. It has changed so often I get tired of dealing with it. This last weekend was the 1st time in 6 months I've actually sat down and plugged some in...hard to get motivated by my fickle ear.

So... as I'm a Senior Member here's my Pedal Pad: Signal goes into Clyde Deluxe > RC Booster > OCD, these 3 pedals are always in the chain . Then into the 4 ch true bypass handmade (not by me!!) looper and from here to Route 66 head: Ch1: FD2 (or Keeley comp) > D-pro (or Keeley MetalZone2) Ch2: Supa Trem > Phase 90 Ch3: Choralflange Ch4: T-Rex Replica OCD and FD2 are running with 18v adapter (placed under the 2nd row) Ch1 is a channel I keep for substitutions: Geroge LS cable are placed under, I can easily take off FD2, for example and put some other like Keeley Comp (not in this picture) or live at home FD2 and D-Pro in my clean funky nights!! (I'm jealous!) Then, I don't have to dance on the board, I leave pedals on and I step only looper's pots in the 1st row. I'd like an EQ pedal, an 8ver, and PSS tuner, but there's no more space, so maybe I'll buy an EQ but have to choose everytime which place on the board (c'mon I'll never use them both...). I like pure tone (gtr cable amp!!) but playin' also pop/funky/modern rock/hard rock I love to have some modulation effects. With this looper I can run only few pedals in the chain, to preserve tone from degradation and engage other only when I really need them.

Thanks Doc, looper is a must have for me, since I found DrZ amp tone! Trying to keep gtr signal as pure as possible!! This one is built on original Loooper specific by a country guy near Po river, during the day he produces wine, at night he's a guitar player and builds some boxes like this...

OK... I'm an old blueser who lives and dies by great cleans and mildly overdriven signals to throw my amps over the top. Here's my board. It's an obscene testament to how great the Z-28 and Stang Ray sound with just a little shove. Except for the Barber compressor and AD9 analog delay, all are either OD's or boosts. Generally, the bottom row is my strat rig (Z-28 or Deluxe Reverb), tele pedals across the top (Stang Ray). But there is considerable overlap. A work in progress, the TIM was actually sold today...the King of Tone and Timmy more or less made it redundant. The MI Audio Boost N Buff has recently been supplanted by a Z Vex Super Hard On (which is my favorite boost for the Stang Ray). The 'Ray is capable of simply stunning harmonics once ya lift her skirt up with the SHO and add a smidgeon of mild Eternity dirt. In the gig bag and not currently on the board is an RC Booster, BB Preamp, Keeley TS-808 (set as a boost), a Klon (set as boost) and a MI Audio Blues Pro. Awesome Stratdev.....a lot of thought and effort went into your setup....it's given me some ideas.....ugh, where is my credit card....oh yea, the wife took it away from me after the Stingray purchase...... ;D

Johnnyl, I bought the Honey Bee in the US cause they are even more expensive in Europe - almost $400 !!! But it's worth every cent. It is the most organic/ dynamic pedal I've ever played (and the Diablo and OCD are strong competitors - you can change from clean to dirt sounds just with the strength of your pick attack. The pedal was inspired by the old Supro amp. It's very warm sounding and has lots of bass response. They Nature Knob is an amazing control - REAL versatile. I use the HB for LoGain rhythm (w/ Strat and Tele) and bluesy lead sounds - and as an "Afterburner" for the other dirt boxes. It makes the other dirt pedals just sound better

It makes a strat bigger, but sometimes it's too much compressed. I use it for solos, power chords ar harsh like you said.

Alright, I finally got off my duff and took the pick and uploaded it. Everything's true bypass. The Boss Rotary and Line6 Verbzilla pedals aren't true bypass, but they're run through the true bypass looper in the lower right. That Boss Rotary Simulator is AWESOME. The Line 6 delay has the Keeley mod. Pretty darn expensive mod for making sure there was no drop in volume when clicked on. Not worth the $100. The vintage boss chorus isn't on the board because I rarely use it, only for cover tune gigs that require it.
