I don't have a Monza (yet), but my local GC has a surf green 2x10 combo that I have spent considerable time on in their little iso room. It has Doc's ceramic 10"s. It sounds phenomenal. Any time I'm in there, I play it. One of the guitar guys asks "why haven't you bought that yet?" every time I go in. It is still there for $1,399, and I think I could get them to come down a little as it has been there for a while. It's been tough on me, but I'm more of a head/extension cab kinda guy. Having said that, I have two Z 2x10 extension cabs. One is all stock and set-up as a closed-back. The other has Weber AlNiCo Silver 10"s and is set up open-back. Having used both of them extensively w/ a lot of different amps, I like Doc's regular 'ole ceramic 10" speakers w/ the higher gain type amps (and I consider the Monza in that camp - at least the way I would run it! ). I think Doc's 2x10 cab w/ Z stock speakers in a closed-back configuration would totally kick serious A$$ as a Monza mini-stack!
