I have a line on a Mazerati Ver. 1, but cannot find but one sound clip. Can any of you describe, or direct me to someone that can play a Mazerati version 1? I currently have a Route 66, Galaxie, and a Prescription RX ES. Thanks, Ba :ort

Thanks, I have watched this many times. It sounds to me like it gets out of the clean range into the hairy pretty quickly on the dial. So at a guess how far into the volume would I have to turn the knot to get the "You Shook Me All Night Long" distortion/ Remember the rhythm is pretty clean. Thanks, Bart

I pulled out my music PRO media Dr. Z amplification DVD tonight and answered all my questions. There are tons of tone pallets of the original Mazerati. Thanks and you need this DVD.

probably the best example of a V1 mazerati is on the new Paisley album...."Catch all the Fish" is just a V1 mazerati and a delay pedal. that was posted by the Doc himself in another thread.

I now have four Dr. Z amps (Route 66, Galaxie combo, Prescription Rx ES, and a Mazerati version 1). The Mazerati Version 1 is different than the others, and man do I love the sound. I have only played a Telecaster through it for four days. I have 22 other electrics, and will get around to them. I have not even thought about any pedals in the chain. Two knobs on this amp! Really? I am amazed at the versatility. Get one now before they are unattainable.

The heavens open up when I play, sustain for days. I look forward to how the other axes sound through her. I play a Fender Tele-Sonic and Fender 8502 Telecaster they both sound killer through her.

I have not put a pedal in front of my Mazerati even after two weeks. I will give my Fulltone line a try, and thanks for the suggestion. I need to try one of my closed back tuned cabinets as well. I have been using and Eminence Red Fang 12" open backed since I got it. Time to branch out!
