Hey there, I am looking for suggestions on a setting up my pedal board. i dont use effects very much but figured I would put them all in one spot. They are as follows: Boss TU9 tuner, Modded Boss SD1 (by Me), Fulltone OCD, Dunlop Rotovibe, Boss TR-2 Tremelo, Boss DD-6 Delay, Crybaby Wah (also modded by me), Fulltone Soul Bender and a Boss volume pedal. I plan on building an effects loop to switch the chain out of my signal path and possibly running my Ghia dry and the effects through my fender. I would love to hear suggestions.

Here's the basic thoughts...no real rule mind you...
Wah/Volume->OD's/Distortions/Boosts/Fuzz's(no particular order)->Delay/Chorus/Trem/Vibe->amp

One thing to watch out for (I ran into this) some fuzz pedals need to be first in the chain. My Analogman Sun Face is NOT happy when placed after other pedals (even the wah) in the chain. More than anything, don't panic if you get some freaky noise from your experiments. Just troubleshoot (one pedal at a time) and you'll work it out. You never know, that freaky noise may make you the next Radiohead

I had the same issue w/ my Sunface. I still miss that damn thing though.... I've read somewhere that fuzz pedals don't like to be placed after any pedal w/ a buffer.
