My friend Brandon at Willcutt's playing a couple fine PRS guitars with the Z Wreck:

Just watched the first vid, but that's a good demo of the amp's dynamics as well as the smooth overdrive. Nice little sound room they have there as well. Based on the volume at which he's achieving that gain tone and what appears to be an in-ear adjustment, do you know if they have the mic'd cab in a separate room? That's what it sounds/looks like, but.......I could be wrong! God stuff.

Pretty impressive. I have one of those Q3 Zooms......maybe I should spend more time with it. What seems a bit off to me is the level of gain, versus the perceived volume. It almost sounds like I can hear the acoustic pick attack on the guitar. The Z-Wreck at that gain level is pretty loud.
Thanks for the response.

No offense to your friend and thanks for the share of the video, but can some one play a rockin cord progression?

No offense to your friend and thanks for the share of the video, but can some one play a rockin cord progression? Why play an actual song when I can just wank incessantly? Just kidding, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for posting Mike. I made more vids than just these on the Z wreck, but I had a customer that wanted to hear these specific guitars, so I just edited these first to kill two birds with one stone. And to answer Stu, yes I just used the Q3 to record. The audio recording is quite good on those, but the video is for ****. The amp is so responsive, you can really hear the string windings and pick attack. Love this amp. Trying to resist, but I have a feeling I will succumb.

I have to admit, the 'Wreck with 'buckers does little for me However, from Day 1 (and even when I placed the order for mine) I expected this amp would be all about single coils for me ;D Sure, I know it's a great tele amp...but I really think this amp will be the 'Holy Grail' of Strat amps...and that's what I'm really looking forward to ;D I think this has been reinforced by MarkT's first impressions in his thread. Sounds good with 'buckers....but I'm holding out for the Strat possibilities Keith
