I"ve been reading about keeley mods. Just got a keeley comp. I have a reissue ts9 and 808. Should I get both moded or just the 808? Also what is the difference between ts9 plus and ts9 baked? Any info appreciated.

Plus is more like a vintage 808 with a bit more bottom and gain range. Baked has twice the gain, but twice the clean as well. Both are cool- just depends on what you are in to. Go to the Keeley site, as there's TONS of info on exactly what he does with the mods, as well as the difference between the 9 and 808, etc.

Hey there, the baked mod has a lot more options. These mods are great you wont believe the tone when you get it back. The really cool thing is sends both the Burr Brown Chip and the Texas Instruments IC chip. All you half to do is unplug one to try the other becase they are installed in a chipset socket.
