Who are the manufacturers who make true bypass pedals??
I've seen some suggestions, but they're from small companies that have limited distribution, and I'll never get to try one out because the closest dealer is a 5 hour drive away. I'm looking for pedals that I can try out at places like Sam Ash or Guitar Center.
Anyone know of any?

Not many are available from GC and SA. Most boutique builders make true bypass pedals. Boss pedals are not TB, but they do have a great buffer.

GC carries a true bypass overdrive by MXR. I think its a Zakk Wylde model. Some of Line 6 pedals are also tue bypass.
You could also get a looper type pedal and insert non-true bypass pedals in the loop(s).

Thanks for the info. But honestly, I couldn't use a Zakk Wylde pedal. I have all my teeth and a sense of shame. (ha ha)
I'm also not to hip to the idea of paying $250 for the Line 6 models. I'm sure they're good. (for that price, they better be)
I guess considering I'm not going to be using many of them, I'll stick with my 25 year old Boss chorus and a new Boss Super Overdrive.

You mean his pinching harmonics? Got me a Marshall TSL for that kind-a music.
