From the top left...Maxon AD-80-Analogman Mini Chorus-Demeter Tremolo-Sweet Mojo Vibe-Peterson Strobotuner Bottom left-Analogman DS-1 Pro-Pro Analog Power Driver-Pro Analog Dual Drive-Analogman NKT Fuzz-Teese Picture Wah-Keeley Japanese Apt. looper. I'd also like to add, there is a cool add-on for Windows that will let you quickly resize any image down. It can be found here www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspxJust scroll down and find "Image-Resizer". This will keep your images small, and load time on the forum down to a minimum. I'm only using 1024x768 and I hate to have an image take up my whole screen.

ME? What are you nuts? You'd be better off using '98 2nd Edition Sorry I have a deep seeded hatred for MS ME. It really cuts a IT Geek like me to the bone.

Well I thought I was there with this first one, but then needed two more pedals on there, AND bought another gigantic one.. so here's where I started: And here's where I ended up: I left the T-Rex rotory simulator on there even after I added the Hughes & Kettner one because the H&K is so darned NOISY. It's a great unit if only it wasn't so noisy. So I use the T-Rex in quiet passages and the H&K when I'm blazing. Signal path is right to left, and goes like this: Lehle 3@1 > Budda Wah > T-Rex Rotory > K&K Rotory > Speedster Turbo Charger > Time Machine Boost > Radial JX-2. The tuner is fed from the tuner out on the JX-2. So I can plug three guitars into this rig, and switch between two amps. Very cool!

ME is what we (techy's) call "Plug & Pray" OS. Tell me some specs, what CPU are you using, how much memory, disk space? Right click "My Computer"->Properties->and tell me what you see. You should be able to run XP ok. Here's the MS minimums. And these are really pushing it.
Processor (Min / Recommended / Processors) 233 MHz /400 MHz Memory (Min / Recommended) 64 MB/128 MB Free Space (Min / Recommended) 1.5 GB /4 GB
A P-3 will be fine, you have enough mem, and I don't know what size your hard drive is but I would hope you have at least 20-40 Gigs.

Bentop: I tried a Speedster Turbocharger at a store in California once. I actually played about 5 different o/d pedals that day from Menatone and HBE and some others. I easily thought the Speedster was the best of the bunch. What has been your impression of this pedal?

I easily thought the Speedster was the best of the bunch. What has been your impression of this pedal? That Turbo Charger has been on and off my board a dozen times. But as you can see, it's back on there - I must like it. It reminds me of an upgraded Tube Screamer to be honest. I've always liked my TS-9, but the Turbo Charger is better - smoother. And as you can see, my TS-9 is not on the board. But I have more pedals off the board than on at this stage. Pedals not on the board at this time: TS-9; Tonebone Classic (2!); Tonebone British; Bixonic Expandora; Rocktron Surf Tremelo; Boss Compressor - I should get rid of all this clutter!

That's kinda why I bought mine. When I get the cash I'm gonna get one of those cool little preamp deals that you did your recordings with.

Well, if you guys want to get into the pc v. mac debate, especially as it pertains to music recording.... such as comparing Pro Tools capabilities... ;D
I've got a Gateway 7426GX Notebook with the AMD Athlon 64 3700+ that'll flat smoke a G5 in it's tracks if we're talking Pro Tools, and this machine is every bit as stable, if not moreso. It hasn't crashed or locked up on me once in the year that I've had it since they came out. Rock solid machine for a lot better price than even the "superior" Mac machines command.
I've also got a custom-built desktop pc in my basement studio with the slightly older AMD Athlon 64 3400+, and that machine is almost as fast, and just as stable.
If you really want to test what a machine is capable of in terms of desktop recording performance, the trick is to see how many simultaneous tracks it will handle in Pro Tools without redlining. You can find further details on how to perform this test over at the digidesign forums... The only thing that won't give you an idea of is stability, but I'm not the only one that's been pleased with this Gateway machine and AMD Athlon 64 processors in general in that department.
Of course, this is all techno computer geek speak, as I have never come close to taxing my machines this hard in an actual recording environtment.
Seeing those Intel/Mac commercials on TV recently just makes me laugh... I'd take my AMD-powered pc over an Intel-powered Mac (or any other Mac) any day of the week, even if price isn't an object.
Back to topic, I don't have a picture yet, as my pedalboard is nearing completion... I'm waiting on three critical components that should be here any day now: an EchoCzar, AngelBaby, and Expression Pedal.
Here's my text signal chain, and I'll post a picture as soon as it's complete:
Keeley Java Boost--->Catalinbread SCOD--->TC Jauernig Luxury Twin Rate Trem--->EchoCzar/AngelBaby/Exp. Pedal--->Peterson Strobostomp
Everything is mounted on a Rave-On Guitar Works Pedalboard, made by a guy named Michael Lemieux who sells them on eBay (mlemieux@twcny.rr.com). I have his standard model that he sells in auctions, but it's my understanding that if you e-mail him, he'll build you any size you want for $0.12 per sq. inch. Not a bad deal...

Heres mine... If you'll notice, the yellow cord coming out of the AB box goes straight to the RC booster, which goes straight to the amp. This has been my favorite setup with the Z28.

Here it is (for the moment): Teese Wizard Wah>AnalogMan DS-1 Pro>Keeley BD-2 "Phat" Mod>Ibanez TS808 Reissue>MXR Phase 90>Zvex Seek Trem>TU-2 Tuner>T-Rex Replica Delay>Option 5 Destination Rotation (Leslie Sim)>Maz Junior or Maz Senior Sometimes I wish I had purchased the Pedal Train 2 or Pro, but I don't know if can justify the extra $100+ just to fit my wah on the board. I guess it works, for now at least. -Greg

guitarman1, I like the way your pedals are mounted...are those "homemade" or can you buy those metals tabs?
