Lots of people do not go there. Teles, that is. Here is an idea - I want to hear Glen Kuykendall give a Z Wreck a workout. Imagine hearing him play some of this, Z style. 59 Les Paul and 89 Trainwreck Express New Gretsch Silver Jet and 89 Trainwreck Express What do you think, Brent? Want me to talk to Glen?

We'll have another demo with a variety of guitars up in about a month. It's already in the works.

Well it's not the guitar for say, but it's always good to hear how a amp sounds on fancy pickin leads, funky cleans, chunky parts, and big power cords that sustain where you get to hear the amp breath.
What does the amp sound like when trying not pretty stuff. Bent's demo of the GT is a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. That almost uncontroled feedbackwhen just grabbing cords and they instantly want to feed back. That is great stuff and not all amps will do that. My Swarts don't, my RxJr didn't, the Z-28 wouldn't either.

I have never had and never even wanted a Telecaster. Although, the Merle Haggard set neck model looks nice. I hope Brent means the shop guys will get out the V and the Yamaha. Mike needs to get you guys need an SG or Les Paul too. You know, for the shop.

Funny...I want mine only for Strat and Tele type stuff. I doubt I would even plug a 'bucker guitar into mine.
I've had my Rx Jr 3 years now and I've never plugged a 'bucker guitar into that one, IIRC.
I have other amps that I use for 'bucker guitars!
It will still be good to see the additional demo video, though!

Man, I'm getting some mean, on-tap feedback from my Z28 though Not saying it compares with a GT, but I do love the way it's there just when I think about wanting it. Very cool amp ;D Looking forward to hearing the 'Wreck with a Strat ;D

I also did a show in Miami that had a long Legacy solo/feedback part with the Z-28. I have a way of getting my Swart's to do it but it's more controled like the Z-28 was not the as soon as you touch it she wants to go off like Steve was getting, but that maybe way over the top and only good from some crazy stuff. Wonderin is the Z-Wreck is crazy like that when dimed.

My Swarts don't, my RxJr didn't, the Z-28 wouldn't either. I've liked the in-house Z demos the best so-far. They use multiple guitars and show a nice range of what the amps can do. No disrespect for Mr. Paisley; he's a monster. I wish I had a third of his talent on a tele. But I don't utilize that type of tone for the stuff I do. It's fantastic to get a noted celebrity to do a demo for your product (and one that consistently uses the product is even better). Lurking on some other forums, I think Z amps have kind of been pigeon-holed into a predominantly country type of sound. People who have experience w/ the amps know that is not the case. The demos should really show this. Today I checked out the 2010 Z-Fest video w/ Don and Eric at Dustin's suggestion last night (even at a gig I can't keep from talking about Z amps...), and I wasn't that impressed. I'm hoping it was just a poor recording. I think I would have held off on the official unveiling until I had at least one demo that really showed the range of the amp w/ multiple instruments. Perhaps that's the difference between me, a poverty-stricken hack wanna-be, and a successful business man like Mr. Zaite... No disrespect intended to anyone. Maybe this amp's just not for me.

I've had my Rx Jr 3 years now and I've never plugged a 'bucker guitar into that one, IIRC. Keith You're missing out... Maybe...maybe not I have many amps similar to the Rx Jr (2 x el84, etc) that I have tried with humbuckers in the past, but not my cup 'o tea for what I need. I'm a hobby player and in order to get those amps working, they need to be dimed. However, several years ago I tried an Tiny Terror and that thing is perfect for humbucker guitars for my needs. So, whenever I want that type of sound, I just plug into the TT. I'm sure the Rx Jr (and my other amps) are great with humbuckers (at volume), but it's just not something I need. For me, I just love the Rx Jr for clean and 'clean with hair' tones. Matter of fact, only last night I set the Rx Jr and 212 cab with Blues up for a while. I'm not helping the cause, though, as I immediately go 'Country' when I plug into that amp But as far as the Z-Wreck goes, it's only an amp It's not for everyone, for sure. Some will love it, some not so much. Some will buy it and may even sell it. Sure even some of the Trainwrecks that are available today were owned by Billy Gibbons, George Lynch, etc, and those guys sold 'em off ;D I'm looking forward to mine, for sure, and I will be perfectly happy if it only ever sees a Strat and a Tele... (I don't own a Ric ). Keith

Mine will be getting a big kick in the pants with some humbuckers, for sure ! I mentioned it before, it loved my PRS and Strat. It didn't seem to favor one over the other. I hear there are more demos in the works, I'm sure they will use some Gibson style guitars. When I played my maple board strat with it, it was like heaven as well. I offered to do a demo, but they already have some other guitar slingers doing it. I'd also like to hear the speed/comfort switch a little more. That's something that got over looked on the BP demo.

I see this amp (for me, anyway) as a replacement for the Stangray that I always wanted but never got around to buying. I'm sure it will sound great with a lot of guitars. A good amp is a good amp, no matter which way you slice it Keith
