Hi guys, thought I'd share this video with you of my old Maz18 with its new owner (Connor McDonald - guy with the Tele right on front of the camera). They were supporting K'Naan in London, and had no time to mic anything, so this is the Maz with everything maxed, and a clean boost pedal for the solo ;D Enjoy! Pete ;D ps Andy Cortes (ES335) uses a Mess o' Boogers and ain't getting "the TONE" at all IMHO, of course!

that's a great vid Pete! Even though he was maxed the tone was stellar! When I max my Maz it doesn't handle it as well as what you posted, must be the speaker perhaps...is there a brake lite in his amp?

Yep, he has a BL, but no idea what he set it at, or even if it was on at all. The 335 player, plays everything LOUD on his Mesa (too loud IMHO) so the Maz has to keep up, but it did it in spades for me That Maz18 is the 1x12 NR combo and has the stock G12H30 well broken in, so nothing custom about it.

cool! My speaker is a well broke in Tone Tubby as well...it will get a tad flabby on the bottom end if pushed really hard. That kid is a fantastic player Pete!

I'll tell him Mark, and he will really appreciate it - he's a really humble guy, but an excellent player trying to make a living at it, and he's surviving, just! He plays with a lot of passion and heart, which I love!!
Cheers
Pete ;D
