Not long ago I posted that I scored a Weber alnico bluedog 75 watt for my'rati and it seems as though while I like the tone of the speaker it does have alot of mids and combine that with the pointed mids the the 'rati already has and it can sound a little "boxy" at times and was wondering if there is a noticable difference between the 50 watt and 75 watt as far as mids and highs goes? Would it be a worthwhile venture to try a ceramic 50 watt bluedog thinking it will have LESS mids then the alnico version?

I like a 30 watt ceramic blue w the Rati...of course I couple that with a Celestion Gold to get the best of both the ceramic and alnico speakers. As a rule...webers speakers get warmer/mellower as you go up in wattage...so a 30watt speaker will be brighter than a 50 watt of the same model.

Ive fiddled with this stuff a bit and I dont think it will make that much of a difference. The tonal qualities are the same, just subtle differences.
