I never have been much of a chorus pedal fan but I noticed that Keeley does a mod on the old Boss CE2. I just happened to see an old used one @ Guitar Center yesterday and got the guy down to 50 bucks for it. I tried it out today w/ my SRZ-65 and it's really friggin cool. I was getting some nice subtle Gilmour clean tones with it, which is what I've been desperately looking for with this amp, as it's more on the high gain side. I highly recommend this pedal (it's anolog too), as it's not too over the top sounding like most of the digital ones these days. I can't wait to hear how it sounds after the mod since it already sounds pretty damn good.

The ce2 has always been a favorite of mine too. Let me know how it sounds after the mod. Been wanting to try it. I have a couple Keeley mods and one his comps. Good stuff

The Foxrox TZF Flanger is the lushest modulation pedal I have heard. It's all analog and although it is billed as the be-all and end-all of flangers, it does any modulation effect really well. Leslies, vibes and a really lush chorus can be pulled, plus some of the best Jimi "Electric Ladyland" flangers you can imagine. Would be an expensive "chorus" pedal but I find it covers so many bases, and it's sound and quality is so great, that it is worth it. Covers my "Zenyetta Mondatta" Police needs and Yes, hell any eighties stuff I guess. In my own band it is strickly a flange pedal although I do use it in one tune as a trem. One of the funnest pedals I've ever had.

The Keeley Mods are all incredible, I'm a big believer. I have the compressor, a bd-2, and ce-2. The chorus is the best I've ever heard, and I've heard em all. Only the $300AND UP pedals will rival it.

Sounds like we're both Keeley nuts Teleberry. BD-2, TS-9, TR-2, Comp & soon to be CE-2 and his Looper pedal. I'd like to try his fuzz but I'm pretty darn satisfied w/ AMan's NKT Sunface...

There are a lot of great sounding chorus pedals out there that each have their own little thing going on. But to me, the TC Electronics SCF is in a class by itself! Nothing else even comes close. If you've never heard one, check out Eric Johnson's "Ah Via Musicom". It's all over it.

Hey Johnny...Which TS-9 mod do you have? I'm looking at picking one of those up as well. There is the regular mod, and a Baked Mod with triple gain that sounds pretty interesting, provided it doesn't dull the tone, but they swear it doesn't.

It's the regular one or "plus mod" as he calls it. It does the trick for me.

I recently bought an MXR 134 stereo chorus, and it sounds beautiful; better than any I've heard before. It does require 18v. The feature I really like is that there is a bass filter switch that eliminates, or at least greatly diminishes, the effect on the lower frequencies, so that the fundamentals remain straight sounding.

My vote for the AM Clone Chorus, does everything from a nice soft shimmer to a full out Leslie!!

I like the AM Clone as well. I have the Bi-Chorus version. Some complain about limited range (that it doesn't go deep enough) but I like what it does. Sounds great with some compression and delay.
But, the BOSS DC-2 in stereo is probably the most heavenly chorus I've ever heard. The only problem with it is after you've heard it in stereo you won't be as satisfied with it in mono and how many venues do you play that run the house in stereo?
