+1 on the Teese Pic Wah. Great wah. I love mine. Special props goes to the Zvex WahProbe. It doesn't do the "quack" thing really, but for really slow sweeps, nothing beats it. The harmonic overtones are great. Plus, no mechanical NOISE!!! This may not sound like a big deal, but I love it. It is hard to play funk on it though.

I just got a Teese Picture wah, and I can't imagine any wah capturing that vintage thing better. I had Vox, Cry Baby, and Maestro wahs back in the 60's and 70's, and this thing just smokes them all. I tried the RMC1 and the Wizard wah too, but this one had the cleanest and most defined vintage wah tone. Kudos to Junior's Music in Clinton, CT...a really cool store and a knowledgeable and real nice guy.

This probably won't qualify for the best, but have you seen the new digitech pedal ( news.harmony-central.com/Newp/2006/DigiTech-EX-7.html)? I only need a wah for a couple of songs and my Morleys (volume and wah) are taking up too much pedal board realestate, so I might give this one a try. Plus, it can be a volume and it has some other effects that I could use, but also only on a song or two.
