I don't have it yet. Probably middle of next week before it arrives. Pretty pumped.. I guess we shall see how it stacks up to the Monza and sounds with the Ray. Thanks for the advice I was given..

You're a lucky man. I'd love an SRZ and I love the look of the LE's.

You're a lucky man. I'd love an SRZ and I love the look of the LE's. Another cool look might be a new SRZ in Black with a Humbucker Green Valance..Or Visa versa

Compared to the Ray??? No Comparison, However the to the Monza! It stacks up well just 3x the Volume. CONGRATS!!!! I'm so glad you finally got the SRZ, I tak eit , you got the Red LE? The one here in my Home State of the Big KY?? I love that color Scheme. My SRZ is my Fav AMP! of all time but I use the Ray more just cause the fact its smaller and works well in the smaller venues! I dont know what kind of cab you plan on running? But The SRZ sounds mighty fine with alot of speakers! I'm gonna give the G12-65 a Try ;D I have been using my Gold and my Ray for Ch A and Cleans and The SRZ for the Goods! Keep us posted! Jamie

I would imagine that a Celestion Gold would sound great with the SRZ, but I don't own one and can't really say. It sure seems to be a popular speaker on this forum though.
I love the SRZ-65 through an open back 2x12 loaded with Celestion greenbacks- very 1970's Marshall sounding tone. Also, it sounds very nice and even louder through a Z-Best. Too heavy and directional for me to take to most gigs though.
Congrats!

if any one is going to buy this from me they better hurry up lol, i played it again lastnight and just listened to the clips on you tube and im really thinking i should keep it , to me the mid control is very impressive , such a great strat tone using the bride and middle pick up ,very thick and full to my ears then crank the mids and get a nice rockin tone and really gets crunch, the master is the best ive ever seen also. im thinking hard about keeping it and trying to sell a guitar or something, so hard to do when you love all your gear! and this isnt a sale's pitch either lol john

Thanks for the advice I was given.. well? how are you liking the amp? i'd take an le over a standard production amp any day. those 35 are very unique. what are you running it through?
