is the airbrake compatible with a vintage super reverb? i'd have t look, but i don't think the speakers connect to the head with a standard 1/4 inch jack. anyone ever used one with a combo such as this?
thanks

works for me. you may need a 1/4" double female jack.

I thought that the Super Reverb was a 2 ohm amp. Is that really safe for the AirBrake, or am I just totally wrong about the resistance?

The Airbrake is for 4 to 16 ohm amps only. If the Super Reverb is 2 ohm out, I wouldn't use the Airbrake on it.

I also have a Weber Z-Matcher ( an impedance matcher/converter). Could I use the Z-Matcher to go from 2ohm to 8ohm output, then into the Airbrake, then back to the 4x10 2ohm speaker setup? Excuse my electronic ignorance...

Yeah, you can do it that way.
