Howdy folks, Even on the highest level of attenuation my Mini head can still be a bit on the loud side when the family are in the house. I currently have the head running through the speaker of my Maz18 but I already have a brakelite installed in the combo. So to summarise the signal is being attenuated by about 6 clicks and it sounds lovely at a nice wife friendly level ;D but am I doing anything that might be detrimenmtal to the head in the long run?

Email or call DR Z amps for the best answer from Z or Brent.
I used to have a Mini - Z Combo, and did run my Airbrake with it at the Bedroom settings with no issues, and that is some significant attenuation.
Still, I'd consult Z. He knows the circuits and what they can tolerate.

I don't think that is the best idea. You could kill your output transformer but someone else could answer better I'm sure.
I would stop doing it until I got a good answer honestly.
Try the 1x10 cab it is perfect for home play on click 4. I love the red fang one I got, so much so I put the head into it to stay.

OK mate cheers for that. I've since dialed the cab attenuator back to zero. Still looking out for one of those red fang cabs over here on the emerald isle but none to be found and damn expensive from the states:(
